Born in Brighton Road, Gorseinon Bill is married to Georgina and a Director of the family business known as Sweetmans Bakeries Ltd. A founder Director of the Gorseinon Development Trust and President and Trustee of Gorseinon Rugby Club. He is also a retired Magistrate and Justice of the Peace. Since retiring ten years ago Bill is actively involved as the Sports Masseur for the Welsh Athletics Association and the Swansea Harriers Athletic Club and also a member of the City and County of Swansea Sportlot Panel.

Frank was born into the Cafe and Ice Cream family
business at the lower end of High Street, Gorseinon and later moved to the
West End Cafe in the centre of the town. Retired in 1999 through ill
health after 44 years of managing the family business. It was one of
Gorseinon's longest established family business of over 100 years.
He is married to Joan, a Justice of the Peace in Swansea. Frank was
past Treasurer for 10 years of Gorseinon Chamber of Trade, a founder
member of Gorseinon Regeneration Forum and is a founder Director of
the Gorseinon Development Trust. |

Barbara is very proud to have been a founder member director from the beginning while volunteering with Snap Cymru and has lots of happy memories within the volunteer and community sectors - from running a local Guide Company for 12 years to now running the British Dyslexia (in Wales) helpline, with many varied positions in between. Barbara also belongs to a local church choir. |
Kelvin Jones joined the Gorseinon Development Trust
from Ebbw Vale and District Development Trust, where he had worked as
Manager and Chief Executive for over 5 years, helping to grow a small
community organisation into one which employed over 30 staff and run many
social enterprises. Kelvin has a background in community environmental
management having worked for Farming and Wildlife advisory group (FWAG)
and Rodbaston Agricultural College in Staffordshire, the RSPB and Gwent
Wildlife Trust in Wales on a number of community environmental
programmes.

Steve joined the Trust in March 2010 taking on the role of Systems Administrator. Steve has an extensive background in Engineering and I.T. including working for 10 years as a Logistics Manager with MG Rover at Longbridge Birmingham then later running a Computer Supply and Maintainence Business in the West Midlands.

Caroline, who joined the Trust in May 2008, has worked in Gorseinon College for the last 13 years as Nursery Manager of the First Steps Day Nursery.

Emma joined the Trust in March 2009. She studied Accounting & Finance at Aberystwyth University between 1997 - 2000, receiving a 2:1. Since then Emma has worked in private practice and in a range of companies, including TUI UK, receiving her ACCA qualification in December 2008. She has lived in Gorseinon all her life and attended Penyrheol Comprehensive and Gorseinon College. |
