Securing a Strong Economic Base for the Local Community

To create employment and income generation opportunities through the development of social enterprises which will operate through the Canolfan Gorseinon Centre.at the offices in West Street, Gorseinon.  The premises have now become an information source for a wide variety of services available to the people of Gorseinon.

Unlocking Potential

To break down barriers, build opportunities to engage people living and working in the wider Gorseinon area, allowing them to participate in regeneration initiatives and unlock their potential for employment, increasing confidence and ensuring skills are maximised.

Creating a Place Where People Want to Live and Work

Create and develop networks and working partnerships to support local regeneration and in particular, a strong working relationship with the Local Authority.  Ensuring initiatives meet the needs of the community and are developed and delivered in an environmentally sustainable way.

Securing a Sustainable Future

To maintain independence, to ensure so far as is reasonably practicable, that the organisation remains democratic with strong local governance and continues to reflect both the diversity of the communities and articulate the consensus view.  To enable the Trust to become economically sustainable through asset development and social enterprises.
