The Local Produce Market was officially opened by Edwina Hart AM on 27 October 2007 and is held at the Grovesend Miners' Welfare Association Hall in Plas Road, every 4th Saturday in the month.

The Market offers a wide range of locally grown and home cooked food and confections - direct from the producers.
The market was set up by the Grovesend Sustainable Development Association, supported by the Gorseinon Development Trust, who provided Insurance and a Steering Committee Member.
The Market is open from 10 am to 1 pm - Bus 400/404
stops outside.
