The Info Shop was officially opened by Edwina Hart AM on Friday, 31 August 2007, with the assistance of Andrew Donald, Chairman of the Trust and Gorseinon Town Mayor, Gill Evans as shown in the photograph below.

The staff at the Info Shop can provide leaflets and advice as to which organisations can provide assistance for your particular needs, as well as details of local events.

Various organisations have attended the offices to give the Trust Staff details of the services that they offer in order that the best advice is available to you locally.

The Info Shop provides a local single point of contact for information services from the voluntary, community and education sectors that are offered across the City and County of Swansea area.

Programmes such as Credit Union, which have not been able to operate in Gorseinon, will now be one of many to operate out of the Info Shop. 

It provides information to source legal advice, funding, health support, disability support, education opportunities, training, women and young peoples' issues, counselling support, local travel, entertainment guides and is a Grand Theatre Ticket Agent.
