Visitors helped to make bird boxes and badges, helped with a litter pick and also took part in many other environmental and children's activities. 

Free refreshments were provided by The Army Training Corp and people had the opportunity to try NAAFI Kitchen food and to purchase Fair Trade Products, which were supplied by the Environmental Centre. 

The weather was fine and sunny, which helped make the day a wonderful success and gave the local children lots of outdoor activities to do during the Half Term break.

Gorseinon Development Trust would like to thank all partners involved, especially BTCV, City & County of Swansea, The Environment Centre, The Army Cadets and a particular thanks to Gorseionon Town Mayoress, Jan Curtis, who handed out Volunteer Certificates to local people who had taken part in the project.
