Gorseinon & Llwchwr Christmas Lantern Parade 2008

The weather stayed dry, the crowds turned up, the lanterns were lit and the bands were ready when Santa flew in to lead the 6th Annual Gorseinon & Llwchwr Christmas Lantern Parade.

Lancer and Ben, the Police Horses, led the parade that approximately 5,000 people attended.

Stilt walkers, fire jugglers, Tan Dance, the ATC Santa Band and the Swansea Pipe Band, in their kilts paraded through the streets of Gorsienon.

Denny Twp compared the festivities and we would like to say a big thank you to everyone who took part.  See if you can spot yourself or your lantern in the photographs below.
